At Lincoln Carlton Academy, we believe all children and adults deserve to have an enjoyable, happy and safe lunchtime.

To encourage children to do their best and achieve we follow the procedures below when dealing with behaviour at lunchtime. Our expectations for behaviour centre on our golden rules.

Our lunchtime rules

Children and staff are expected to follow our Golden Rules and values at all times. These help the school community to function harmoniously, so that everyone can achieve their full potential.

We have a wonderful new Trim Trail which is available along with lunchtime equipment. Our lunchtime supervisors are trained to create safe and fun play opportunities.

School dinners

School dinners are provided by our very own Chef and his kitchen team based in our school kitchen.

All children in Reception up to Year 2 are entitled to free lunches under the Government’s Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme. For children in Years 3 upwards, meals can be ordered online through ParentPay at the price of £2.46 per meal.

You can view current menus at the bottom of this page. Please let the school office know if your child has special dietary requirements as this can be catered for.

If you choose to provide your child with a packed lunch, it must not require the use of a fridge, oven, kettle, or microwave. Please try to send your child to school with a healthy packed lunch. We do not allow fizzy drinks in school. All children are provided with the option of water or milk.

Free milk

Children in Year One or Year Two classes who are eligible for Pupil Premium will be provided with milk by the school each day. If you would like your Year One or Year Two child to receive this, please register your child with our provider, Cool Milk, using the link below.
